Is the consultation worth it without a portfolio?
Yes, pictures aren’t a requirement. Links to Instagram, your portfolio or polaroids are optional in the request. What you talk about depends on your request – for example, the topic “Agencies & getting started”.
What applies if I’m under 18?
You send the request yourself and name a parent or other legal guardian. That person books and pays, concludes the contract and receives the booking link; you get a copy.
They are present at the start of the video call. If you’re younger than 16, they stay for the whole conversation; from 16 on, they may leave once the call has started but must stay reachable. All rules for minors are set out in the Terms.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes. Up to 24 hours before the start, you can reschedule free of charge to another available time – via the link in your booking confirmation or by email to Ania. After that, it’s only possible if Ania agrees. All rules are set out in the Terms.
How do I prepare?
In your request, describe as specifically as possible what matters to you, and add links to your pictures if you have any. Ania uses them to prepare for the call; the preparation is included in the price. Before the appointment, check your camera, microphone and internet connection and find a quiet place.
When will Ania get back to me?
Usually within two business days. You’ll receive a confirmation of receipt right after you submit. Ania’s email with the appointment contains the booking link; it’s valid until the time stated in the email.
How does the video call work technically?
You talk via Cal Video, the video service of our booking partner Cal.com. You receive the link with the booking confirmation and open it in your browser. You need a device with a camera, a microphone and an up-to-date browser, as well as a stable internet connection. The call is not recorded; recording is switched off in Cal Video.
